Tattoos are no longer considered permanent and irreversible marks on the skin. Laser tattoo removal is the only clinically-proven method of removing a tattoo without causing scarring. With more than a decade of use, as well as constant research and improvement, the quality-switched (Q-switched) laser has been the acknowledged laser of choice for all tattoos.
How Tattoo Removal with the Q-switched Laser Works?
The tattoo pigment injected into dermis becomes sealed away by a tough network of collagen fibers. It is almost impossible to remove the tattoo pigment without affecting the surrounding tissue. This uniformity allows us to use the Q-switch laser remove broader areas of ink from skin at the same depth. With new advances in Q-switched laser technology, removal of unwanted tattoos can be achieved with minimal risk of scarring or permanent pigmentary alteration of the surrounding skin.
During a tattoo removal treatment, laser light is applied to the tattooed area of the skin. Laser light reacts with the ink in the tattoo, and breaks it down. The tattoo ink absorbs the laser energy, and shattersinto smaller ink particles. The broken-down ink is then absorbed by the body’s immune system, mimicking the natural fading that time or sun exposure would create. After several treatments, more and more of the ink shatters, leaving the skin free of ink. After each treatment, the ink tattoos are increasingly beginning to fade, and after several treatments completely disappears.
What is the Treatment Like?

How Much does the Q-Switched Laser Cost?
The cost depends mostly on the tattoo size, the part of the body where it is located and the number of treatments required for complete removal. Depending on size and colors, 3-6 treatments are usually needed for the complete removal of unwanted tattoos. Larger and denser tattoos require more treatments.
